Sebastiano Forti

Born in Florence in 1965, he is an eclectic artist who plays the entire range of saxophones, clarinet, acts, and sings. He began his studies with his father, a musician and musicologist, and further honed his skills at the IALS by attending courses in saxophone, voice, harmony, arrangement, and big band.
He earned a First-Level Diploma in Jazz Singing from the Conservatorio S. Cecilia in Rome. His training includes courses in dance, mime, and comic acting.
For over twenty-five years, he has performed on Italian and international stages, completing more than two thousand concerts in festivals, reviews, and awards, accumulating appearances on television, radio, and theater.
He has released fourteen albums as a composer and arranger, and at least another twenty records as a collaborator, artistic director, soloist, singer, and session musician and is currently active with about ten bands and musical groups. For twenty years, he has been reviewing children's books for Salani publishing house.
He regularly holds conferences and courses on saxophone, clarinet, solfège, gospel choir, and ensemble music.
Since 2014, he has been teaching singing, solfège, and score reading at the International Academy of Theatre, since 2000, he has taught in various municipal schools and in the province of Rome, and conducts courses at the Asl of Frascati. He also leads innovative courses like ear training, music for babies, and music for toddlers.
