In addition to the Three-Year Diploma Course in Acting, the Academy offers a wide range of courses designed for those who, for study, work or personal reasons, cannot commit to a full-time academic program; for those who wish to approach theatre for the first time; or for those who want to deepen acting tools and techniques in a flexible yet always professional way.
A year-long, weekly program dedicated to the art of on-camera acting, hosted at the International Academy of Theatre in the historic district of San Lorenzo.
The workshop guides students in exploring on-set acting techniques, truth in the frame, and acting dynamics in front of the camera, through practical exercises and video shoots.
At the end of the course, each student will receive a showreel featuring the best performances created during the program, along with additional professional materials such as self-tapes, an “about me” video, and filmed scene work — useful for castings, auditions and personal presentations.
The training is led by directors and acting coaches active in the film and television industry, with experience in productions for RAI, Sky and Netflix, as well as award-winning short filmsshowcased at international festivals.

Course objectives

Methodology
The work alternates practical moments (shooting, scenes, playback) with analysis, using American acting techniques (Meisner, Strasberg) and the European principle of “doing for real”.
The teacher guides each actor in the search for maximum authenticity.
