The International Academy of Theatre is part of Laziodisco (the Regional Authority for the Right to University Study in Lazio), which provides Scholarships and other Competitive Benefits (housing places, additional contributions for study experiences abroad and graduation awards) through public funds for the Right to Study in Lazio. To apply to the Laziodisco Single Competitive Call, students of the International Academy of Theatre must meet specific financial and merit requirements: the financial requirement is assessed on the basis of the Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator (ISEE), while the merit requirement is taken into consideration only from the second year onward and considers the credits obtained. Students declared winners following publication of the relevant ranking are entitled to a Scholarship. The Benefits provided by the Laziodisco Single Call are:1. Housing places: Laziodisco allocates housing within its facilities for a period of ten months. Only "off-site" students enrolled at universities with registered office in Lazio may apply for housing.
2. International mobility contributions Students who are Laziodisco scholarship recipients and enrolled at universities in Lazio are entitled to a top-up grant for participation in international mobility programs.
3. Graduation award Scholarship "winners" who complete their three-year degree within the standard duration of the program may receive an additional amount equal to 50% of the scholarship obtained in the academic year of graduation.

Scholarships - A.I.T.
The International Academy of Theatre Acting School Rome offers, for A.Y. 2026/27, up to
5 Partial Scholarships awarded on merit among students belonging to the 1st and 2nd income brackets.
(Theatre Academies - EU Acting Academies - EQF Level 6).
After December 21, at the sole discretion of the Faculty Board, the results of the Admission
Exams, academic exams, credits and evaluations obtained, creative and performance activities, and the
quality of participation in productions will determine the allocation of the 5 Scholarships
on a merit basis within the 1st and 2nd income brackets.
Should the number of students in the 1st and 2nd income brackets be fewer than five, the remaining
scholarships will be extended to students in the 3rd income bracket and awarded according to the
same criteria.
The awarding of Scholarships entails a reduced payment of the Academic Fee by the student from January to June 2027, in a single installment.
