Acting Academies and Schools recognized by MUR/AFAM and MiC
In Italy there are many acting schools, but only some acting academies are recognized by the Ministry of Universities and Research (MUR) as AFAM Institutions - Higher Education in the Arts, Music and Dance or as entities recognized by the Italian Ministry of Culture (MiC). Only these acting academies are authorized to issue first-level academic diplomas or degrees, both of which have legal value equivalent to a three-year bachelor’s degree in acting.

The best acting academies and accredited institutions in Italy
Many acting schools operate in Italy, but only a few acting academies are accredited and recognised by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) as AFAM Institutions (Higher Education in Art, Music and Dance) or by the Ministry of Culture (MiC). Only these accredited institutions are authorised to award a First-Level Academic Diploma in Acting with legal value equivalent to a Bachelor's degree (180 CFA credits, Class L-3).
