The Call for Applications A.Y. 2026-2027 selects young actors for a program accredited by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR), aimed at awarding a First-Level Academic Diploma in Acting, with top-level training.

The Accademia Internazionale di Teatro in Rome is now accepting applications for admission to the Three-Year Advanced Acting Training Program - Academic Year 2026/2027.

The competition is open to young people who wish to pursue a professional career in theatrical and cinematic acting. The selection process consists of 3 stages:
- Interview and aptitude tests: September 14 - October 7
- Introductory course: October 5-15
- Admission exams: October 15
Passing the exams grants access to the First-Level Academic Diploma Program (AFAM), which is legally recognized and equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.
Scholarships
Laziodisco awards numerous scholarships and financial benefitsthrough regional public funds to students in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year, based on merit and family income.
The Accademia Internazionale di Teatro awards 5 internal scholarships each year to the most deserving first-year acting students, partially covering the annual tuition fee.

The call for applications for A.Y. 2026/2027 at the Accademia Internazionale di Teatro in Rome - an AFAM institution recognised by the MUR (Ministerial Decree no. 251/2016) and among the leading acting academies and theatre schools in Italy - opens enrolment for the three-year Higher Education course in Acting. The course awards the First-Level Academic Diploma in Acting, equivalent to a Bachelor's degree (180 CFA credits, Class L-3) and legally recognised, and trains professional actors for theatre, film, and television.
How to take part in the admission competition
The admission competition is aimed at young people who wish to pursue a professional path in stage and screen acting. The selection auditions are organised in three stages: the introductory interview and the aptitude tests, the free preparatory course, and the final admission exams held at the Teatro Anfitrione in Rome. Passing the admission auditions grants access to the First-Level Academic Diploma course (AFAM) of the Academy.
Scholarships and financial support
The call for applications at the Accademia Internazionale di Teatro in Rome includes 5 internal scholarships for prospective student actors in the 1st and 2nd income brackets, awarded on merit based on the admission exam rankings. In addition, scholarships and financial benefits from Laziodisco are granted through regional public funds to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students based on merit and family income (ISE).
