Call for Applications

The Call for Applications A.Y. 2026–2027 selects young actors for a program accredited by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR), aimed at awarding a First-Level Academic Diploma in Acting, with top-level training.

The Accademia Internazionale di Teatro in Rome is now accepting applications for admission to the Three-Year Advanced Acting Training Program – Academic Year 2026/2027.

Admission Procedure

The competition is open to young people who wish to pursue a professional career in theatrical and cinematic acting. The selection process consists of 3 stages:

Interview and aptitude tests: September 14 – October 7
Introductory course: October 5–15
Admission exams: October 15

Passing the exams grants access to the First-Level Academic Diploma Program (AFAM), which is legally recognized and equivalent to a Bachelor's degree.

Scholarships

Laziodisco – Scholarships

Laziodisco awards numerous scholarships and financial benefitsthrough regional public funds to students in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year, based on merit and family income.

AIT – 5 Internal Scholarships

The Accademia Internazionale di Teatro awards 5 internal scholarships each year to the most deserving first-year acting students, partially covering the annual tuition fee.
